AJP: A History
Ariana Jordan Photographie was founded in mid-2006 when Ariana was only a junior in high school. Having caught the “shutterbug” the previous year, she’d been an avid snapshooter until several of her peers, enamored by her work, which featured bright colors, interesting concepts, and refreshing composition, began to seek her out for portrait sessions. She hasn’t looked back since.
Today, at age 19, Ariana is almost completely self-taught, having learned everything she knows through reading, observation, and the tedious process of trial and error. She studied for a semester at IADT Nashville before, being unsatisfied with the quality of the education being offered, she returned to Bell County, where she is currently based.
Ariana’s work has been published in online publications and in Capture Music City, a photography book about Nashville. The covers of several released albums have featured her work as the cover art. A photography book featuring Ariana’s work is currently in pre-production.
Ariana currently serves Bell & Claibourne counties and the surrounding areas. She is available for nationwide travel and frequently shoots in Knoxville, TN. She shoots weddings, high school seniors, families, children, newborns, modeling portfolios and conceptual portraiture.
Ariana’s style is unique, modern, creative, and artistic. She’s not afraid to go to the limit to get the perfect shot. Amongst her regular clients, she’s famous (and slightly notorious) for putting her clients waist deep in water, three stories above the ground, or in some other situation that will cause a passerby to take a second glance. A shoot with Ariana is always a fun and memorable experience.
